OBELLE MILIEN

MY MUSIC
"Obelle's debut single, 'I wanna be Better', is a tasteful mixture of a teaspoon of smooth jazz with a cup of neo-soul. It's groovy, smooth and catchy at the same time."
Gervaisson Pluviose
"This is a song whose purpose is to essentially help us reflect on the life that we are living today and to ask ourselves are we strong in our faith, are we thriving to be better each day so that when our time here on earth is done we can be save for eternity."

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Obelle
Obelle Milien was raised in Miami, Florida. She was introduced to music at the age of five. She has been playing the piano for 17 years now. At the age of 8 she won 1st place in a music recital that took place at Sainte Trinite music school. As a music prodigy, she was accepted into a magnet music program to play the violin during her years in secondary school. She continued her studies at Miami Union Academy, where she was able to serve as a pianist for the chapel services every morning. During her high school years, she played the violin in the concert band and sang in the concert choir, which gave her the opportunity to participate in an international music festival that took place at Southern Adventist University. When she graduated high school, she received the Music Award of her class.
Furthermore, Obelle Milien plays vital roles in the choirs and praise teams at several local churches in Miami. She’s currently a nursing student, yearning to attend a great music school such as Berklee College of Music or Juilliard school to get her music degree. She has a passion for music all around, specifically for smooth neo-soul music. She currently gives piano lessons to beginners and her dream is to someday be the sole proprietor of her own music institution.
